Wondering if anyone installed proclip in their 992 with the Apple mag mount. And if so, how it holds up....

I installed mine and used the "MaxBoost" magnetic holder. I bought the "MaxBoost" magnetic holder from Amazon for $12.49. It fits and it works perfectly!

Simple $$$ and you actually get two. One for the Porsche and the other has a home in our BMW.

 

If there is a Kuda mount available get that one...they are generally made with nicer materials, and look nicer in the car.

 

The slide in clip works fine with no magnet needed

 

Yikes. No thank you gentlemen. Those are just too much for me. What is on the screen that you must have the phone mounted facing you? We have wireless carplay now? Even the BT only connection gives you notifications? Slap your phone in the door card, center console, glove box or passenger seat and drive! No distractions needed.




Tell the truth!!! Do you guy mount the phone on your belts as an out fit accessory too?

c'mon fellas - it might be functional but that has to be the worst looking phone mount ever designed. Looks like someone fabbed it up from spare plastic bits in their garage. The 992 interior is pretty slick and modern, why ruin it with that contraption?

SIG 226 16 round, complements the rest of the armory (AR 5.56, SCAR17 7.62...) and is, for me, the limit size wise/weight for a CCW.
