Default 2 questions on Spyder Rims

Hey folks

Looked but didnt find what I was looking for

1. Does ceramic coating the rims change the look or lustre of the rim? I am guessing it does not make it significantly glossier. Any other helpful suggestions on doing this. I consider it therapy to do these kinds of fiddling around, so will do it myself. I am also going to ceramic coat the brake calipers at the same time

2. Anyone have a close up pic of the bolts or nuts that hold the rim onto the car? From some pics that were fairly close up, it looks like one of them is a 12 point (maybe?) - guessing for anti-theft. Just wondering if anything different required for getting the rims off the car

thanks

1. The coating on mine didn't make them glossier or have any change on the luster. Coating them makes them significantly easy to clean. That being said, while it is much easier, it is still a lot of surface area and is the most time consuming part of washing the car. Calipers are a good call as well.

2. One of the lugs uses a multi-point head. It's intended to be the most basic theft deterrent, because it's not unique to your car. The adapter is in compartment on the left side of the frunk with the flat repair goo.

Please excuse my non-pristine lugs as my car gets actually driven and we've pulled the wheels almost a dozens times now between detailing, winter wheel swaps, various service bulletins, etc.

I had Ceramic Coating of my rims. I don't notice any change in their appearance but they are much easier now to keep clean.

I just love Porsche factory wheels. It would be difficult to pick an absolute favorite, be a tough call between these and the Classics.
