2020 RS Spyder Design Wheels (ET53) on 2021+ 992 (ET50) - Use Same Bolts?
I have an incoming 992 (probably a 2022 - still waiting on allocation). Jumped the gun and purchased some RS Spyder Wheels (20/21") to use as a winter set. I see the RS Spyder Design wheels in the front have gone from ET53 in 2020 to ET50 in 2021 and beyond.
My set are ET53. Does this mean I have to use different length wheel bolts for the front wheels, or can I use the same bolt length that are on the 2021/2022 992 because the difference in offset it so small?
Thanks

I would suggest confirming with the dealership but my understanding is that the same OEM bolts can be used with the various different OEM wheels unless you’re getting spacers to change the offset ... then you need longer bolts to pass through the spacers and ensure there’s enough thread into the hub.

Lesser known winter wheel set fact...
The official Porsche winter wheel packages have smaller offsets than the regular wheels. This is done intentionally to reduce stones being thrown up by the tires in winter conditions.

Re: winter wheel choice. Where I live I'm usually running winter tires for a good 5 months of the year. It's cold but the roads are usually bare (Toronto). I like to run the original stock setup for all my cars. Car looks better, handles better - and I'm not wasting 40% of the year wishing I was on wider rubber.
