Sport Chrono Package for auto

Sport Chrono Package for auto
I'm buying a C4S for daily driving in NYC, with occasional road trips out of the city (and potentially migrating to CA in the future).
I will be driving an automatic and will probably not use the paddle shifts (too much effort to constantly handle gears switching).
Would there be any benefit for me to get the Sport Chrono Package?
Another question about the mode switching:
So without the Sport Chrono Package, I can switch between Sport and normal mode with a single button press.
But with the package, I now have to rotate through all the modes to toggle between Sport and normal mode (Sport -> Sport+ -> Individual -> Wet -> Normal, 4 button presses in total)?
Does anyone have a video of how the mode switching works with Sport Chrono Package?

Another question about the mode switching:
vehicles without the Sport Chrono Package feature Normal and Sport modes, selectable via a SPORT button on the dashboard. Adding the Sport Chrono Package moves the SPORT button from the dashboard to an additional mode switch on the steering wheel, allowing drivers to select from multiple drive modes

With the sport Chrono you can rotate in both direction without taking your attention from the road .Very easy.I don't use the paddle shifts but use the SC every drive to enjoy the character changes in the car.

With the sport chrono package you are using a wheel to change between modes. As said, it spins in both directions and normal and sport are next to each other on the list so it is only one "click." Turn right and you are in Sport, turn left and you are back to normal. The button in the center of the wheel is to engage sport response mode for 20 seconds. It's the easiest method in any car I have had to switch between modes.

Get the Sport Chrono option. Messing with the display is for when you're parked in your driveway.
I could live without the wart on the dash, but the rest of the package makes it well worthwhile.
FWIW, I grew up in Connecticut and Southeastern Pennsylvania, went to school in Delaware and then spent a decade on year in Detroit. Other than Detroit (Yuck!) they're all nice places to visit, but you'll not ever see me moving out of California.

I would not buy a modern PDK 911 without Sport Chrono.

PSE is just sound/aesthetic, no performance gain?

Three Wheelin'
^^^ I dont know about performance. But it looks and sounds better to me. Ive always felt those who dont have it got the "dentist spec" build.
Now if your are older and dont think youll ever want a louder exhaust note, then who cares. But if you are a guy who likes more exhaust note, then yes do get the PSE. You'll regret not having it otherwise.

I have RAS on my Cayenne turbo and it makes a difference in handling , no such reason for RAS on the 992 if its only used for daily driving. The four tip exhaust looks better to me than the ovals PSE and its loud enough to my taste.992 is my daily driver and sport chrono is used every single time and it makes each drive more enjoyable.I agree that the Chrono part does not add anything to the dash.

I have had my 2021 911 for 4 months and driving in CA with 1/4 on the freeway and have never used the Sport +. In normal driving I don't know when you would use it unless on a track or drag racing. Sport gives me more acceleration than I ever need and any more would scare me.

And everyone I know who "knows" Porsches would not buy a PDK 911 without Chrono.

The absence of that clock on the top of the dash is hard pass in the resale market. It’s practically worth it for the steering wheel selector alone, plus you get extra modes and dynamic engine mounts.

Yes, the dynamic engine mounts make the car feel great, rock solid.
