No adaptive cruise control for manual transmission
My DD is a 2017 MK7 VW Golf R with a 6 speed MT AND adaptive cruise control (standard equipment.) So, since it's really just one big happy Stuttgart family, why does Porsche only offer ACC on PDK equipped models? C2S (with MT) is on order - 68 days away!

It's a full start/stop system which doesn't make any sense with a manual transmission.
With the 992 generation, the ACC is actually fully integrated with the PDK. Even when you're not using the cruise control functionality, the ACC influences the PDK shift points, when operating in automatic mode, based upon the traffic in front of you.

Nope not avail for the MT. Can understand why with the MT and the driver controlling the gears vs PDK where it would be more easily integrated.

I don’t see why Porsche don't offer it, standard cruise works as you change gears so ACC could too. As in, you’re in 6th with cruise on and change to 7th, cruise disengages as you dip the clutch and re-engages as you let the clutch out.
