Footrest complaints

I just saw a video of a guy reporting on his 992. His biggest complaint (actually, it was a serious rant) was that the footrest is about half the width it should be, making it painful for his left foot and leg after a long drive. This is the second video I've seen of someone really upset about the footrest. Is anybody else experiencing problems, and if so, is there a workaround?

Not sure if its pertinent but one rant was for a RHD car.

Numeric Racing is definitely a bit wider. Search here for photos of them.

Definitely a RHD problem (due to transmission tunnel). Plenty of room in my LFD version.

Thanks. I think you have to buy the whole pedal set for $500, so I'll wait until I get my car in a few weeks to see whether there is any validity to the complaints.
