Not gunna happen. Only model delete will be allowed by Stuttgart. They want to build the brand awareness of "PORSCHE".
That's for sure - I was curious and asked if I could spec my 991 with just "911" badging and the response I got was exactly the above. On the 991 you could easily remove the badging (which is what happened when I had it wrapped) and might be why they went with the 3D non-removable branding in the first place. The question is whether the cup car part will be available for sale and if it will fit any of the normal 992 models (which I doubt).
The PORSCHE script on the 992 has little alignment pegs on it and the black piece on the car has little holes to receive the pegs. So if you delete you are left with the holes. It's actually a blessing if you want to change it to black as aligning it perfectly can be done by a child.
I imagine replacing the entire back piece would be convoluted and expensive vs filling in the tiny holes. So removing would just involve a heat gun? Just thing this branding ends up being cheap bling looking IMHO.

You can remove the letters, but it's not the entire "3D block". There's basically a raised square pedestal for each letter, with a 2-3 holes for the pegs on the letters to fit into. The letters themselves are only about 1/8" tall, they sit on top of a block that extrudes (which is the same size/shape for each letter - it's how TECHART was able to replace with their own name).
Yes I just had a look on the wife's Macan and was wondering whether grinding the square pedestal off could be done. But I doubt one would (or I should say) I could achieve a smooth solution. Shame as I just think it's just cheap bling. I'm sure soon enough someone will find a way to illuminate it...
