Tried looking up examples of the sound (from outside) and cabin, plus pictures for the 992 C2S Coupe with the Quad Tip Exhaust. However, couldn't find many or was inconclusive.
Majority of the 992 have the Sport Exhaust with the Oval Tip.
If some of the members who have the 992 with Quad tip, Standard Exhaust, could you share the pictures and a video link of the engine sound.
Btw does the PSE has a performance increase with the PSE too or is it just audio and aesthetic difference with the option to turn it down a bit?
No performance increase with PSE. Quad tips look so much better IMHO. Standard exhaust sounds great and I would not want it any louder--PSE off is still too loud for me and my neighbors. YMMV.
I spoke with tuners about improved performance from sport exhaust on the 991.2. They all said from their data there was no significant increase. The 992 exhaust might be yield different results.
I have PSE and have slowly started to prefer the tone with it off more. I like the louder volume with it on, but seems to sacrifice some tone in the process.
Exhaust sound is the only thing I miss from my 991.1.
Thanks for the pictures. That is the gentian blue with the classic wheels. That is the exact combination I was looking at. The quad tips looks nice. Thanks. That was very helpful!

Thanks for the picture mate. The quad tip looks nice to me..
thanks for sharing the info. Interesting to know that there is no performance gain but only the aesthetics and the sound changes! That is some good info to keep in mind for the build.
BTW the SA was suggesting that they can tune the car in-house to increase the power. Is that possible? I am guessing some software flashing to the ECU!
With the normal quad, putting in sport gives an increase in sound, back to normal it goes quiet again.
Tested in manual (pdk).
sports exhaust is slightly more throaty, but is louder if that’s your thing.
I'm not exactly sure how the valves work on the standard exhaust (yes, there are electrically actuated valves just like the PSE, but with no manual control). They open automatically at various drive mode settings and rpm's. I always drive in Sport mode with auto shifting and when you floor it to pass it really sounds good.
