I know this is probably old news for you veteran 992 drivers, but after 4 months of daily driving, I happened upon the vertical info widget swipe inadvertently. For reference, the PCM in my 2020 Panamera had a swipe-from-the-right gesture that pulled it in and out, but this vertical gesture is brand new to me.
On a secondary note, I also accidentally turned on the auto-high beams the other day. This is one piece of tech that the Porsche Engineers really nailed. It seems to be connected to my brain - turning the bigh beams on and off exactly as I would. It recognizes only the true oncoming traffic and ignores things like reflecting signs. A++ on this implementation.
Anyway -- here's a video to show you the up/down swipe if you haven't already seen it.
Last year, I inadvertently did a vertical swipe on my info widget and it took me a while to figure out that I could swipe it back.
This is helpful information for those that haven't stumbled upon it yet.
Totally agreed on the auto high beams. It's an excellent implementation and a reason to go with the upgraded headlights.
