I appreciate all the comments about winter driving. I know how to drive in the snow and ice, but I am fortunate enough to have a Panamera 4 which I drive in the winter with a set of winter tires. in other words, I do drive a Porsche in the winter, but I need to store the 911 so my wife has a garage spot for her Subaru. I do not want her to be forced to park on the driveway during the winter months. If I had a three car garage, I’d put the winter tires on the 911 and drive it during the winter too. First world problems for sure.
Took my 992 CS out of storage today. Cover off, battery tender disconnected from Battery, battery cover re-installed. Started right up. Tire pressures adjusted and drove it about 13 miles back to my home. Supposed to be in the 60s this week, don't want to miss any good days to take her out and enjoy it. Spring is now officially here.

I loved winter driving. I didn't like others' winter driving. Oh....and the cinders central Illinois spread on the roads tended to damage the windshield(s).
Around here the reason to winter store isn’t the snow, it’s the sand, salt and gravel that gets thrown up and also processed by the wheels. There are roads I can take it on beginning about March 1 as I have but more roads to avoid. I have another Porsche for the winter that is less debris susceptible and fun but it still takes some hits. You just about don’t see sports cars here until mid-April.
^ Yeah, I jumped the gun early this year and took mine out for some drives in late Feb (I couldn't resist, temps reached upper 30's and sunny).
However, I got a lot of salt and debris on my car so I had to wash it twice in 1 week. But since then I've driven it several times through the back roads over the weekend and it has barely gotten anything on it. Most of the salt seems to have finally dissipated.
But winter isn't over yet. We still get some snow in March and even April.
