Default Still no news on Michelin tires?

I'm at 16,000 miles and nearing the end of the life of my goodyears, called a local tire shop and said they still had no PS4S for the carrera s. should i keep driving my model 3 commuter until they arrive at some point in the next half year or should i just bite the bullet and stick with goodyears at this point? i'm reaching a year of ownership in a few weeks, can't believe they haven't been released yet!!!

I'm also at 16k miles, but my winters tires help share the load. As a result, I've got plenty of life left in the summer PZeroes.
With the pandemic, I am not surprised that there continue to be delays here.

If you need tires, you need tires. I'd go with whatever you can get. If you're happy with the Good Years, get another set. You could also give the PZeroes a whirl.

I was thinking about switching to Pzero's, actually! I just really loved the Michelin PS4s' on my 2018 M4 Comp and I just have a feeling it'll be magical on the 911. Might just hold out.

At only 16k all you should need are two new rear tires. Buy 2 matching now, replace all 4 next year when more options are available.

I suggest you check out the actual size of the Michelin 315/30 21 PS4S versus the actual sizes of the Official Goodyears and Pirellis. This could give you the solution you want now.

A 992 does not have a 21" rear wheel. Only the 991 GT3RS.....and this incoming new GT3.

The 992 does have 21 inch rears. Base Carrera wheels are 20” rears but Carrera S, Classic, Exclusive and RS Spyders are all 21”.

Tire Rack has N-spec 4S in stock in OEM front and 315/30zr21 rear. I plan to go that route when I upgrade, unless Michelin has something in a 305 when I need to replace shoes. Even if they do, I might go 315 anyway.

They said that the production started in December 2020, I really hope that they will be released soon. I check Michelin website everyday. I am at 10,000 miles with Goodyears.

If you get stuck, I found that the P Zeros are quite good. I’ve been a Michelin snob for years, btw.

Nice. Unfortunately, Sport Cup 2s are a no go for me given that I drive in the rain and do extended road trips. I am waiting for the Pilots.

Even though I only have 4k miles on my car with Pzero, I can’t wait for the ps4s to come out. Much better street tire; were amazing on my M4. Or I might just go 315/30 in the rear like some have mentioned 😬

I’m rarely a brand *****. Stockli skis and Michelin tires. They’ve earned it.

I never tried Stockli - I am ready for a new pair. I’ll give them a test next winter.
