The 992 GT3 swan neck wing is hideous. If anyone added that wing as an aftermarket piece, it would be bashed unequivocally. But since it’s factory, everyone will bite their tongue.

I actually love the swan neck spoiler, but the fake vents are as hideous on the GT3 as they are on an Audi A3. It's sad to watch erstwhile purists defend them.

3rdpedal: your car is absolutely stunning!

I think the swan neck helps make the argument for aero-kit. There is no confusing the two now.

Seems ‘22 will be fine for Aero kit. Note from PCNA to my SA;

Anyone have luck getting a MY22 build with the aerokit?

I may be mistaken but I don't think any 2022's have been delivered yet. We probably won't see the first ones until fall.

Aerokit for 22 is unaffected. First 22 builds come out late aug early sept. Microchips notwithstanding???

Yeah, of course, I was more asking for folks who have successful builds submitted and build started. I think that's where they would reject the build request due to the aerokit not being available if that is the case.

I hope that's the case too, but someone in another thread just said their 22 build had the aerokit removed. The builds should be entered into the system now and that should be when they are rejected if the aero is not available right?

not necessarily. They could be accepted then delayed. I’m not sure when the first 2022’s lock.
Mine locks 5/28. I’ll report back then.

Thank you. I assume that you put in the aerokit as part of your build?

My understanding is that July builds that have items that are unavailable would have already been kicked back to the dealer to Rebuild the car with something else or delete. The statement is correct that something could always be delayed but if your July build has not been kicked back to dealer by now, it should be accepted as is. Again, anything is still possible but I'm referencing information from someone higher up than an SA. Basically, many July build have been kicked back across all make models already, if you were not notified already, you "Might be in the clear"

Thanks 911Castle! So you're saying a lot of people who have aerokits should "theoretically" have their builds rejected already since they would've submitted for a July allocation by now. That's kind of what I'm trying to gauge as well is if folks who have an early MY22 allocation if they builds were successfully accepted.

In my specific scenario, I haven't put down a deposit yet as this is an important part of my build. Without, I might not consider getting the car altogether, hence I want to figure out if the aerokit is available prior to putting the deposit.

Note: I don't have a crystal ball, but your summary should be correct. I should state for everyone: Even if you have not reached your Freeze point, every time your SA enters a specific build for your Commission number, you run the risk of having your build pushed, denied, delayed. Meaning if your current build is submitted with "must have" options and it has not been kicked back to the dealer to change, I would think twice about making any as you might not like the result. Just my .02c

I have a MY '22 C2S on order. Freeze Point is in 2 days with delivery date for late October / early November '21. Counting every day!!! It includes AeroKit and approved and ready to go to production so if you are ordering MY 22 models, you shouldn't have any issues with Aero Kit approvals.

My build is below. Good luck and happy miles!!!
