Radar detector for Cabriolet owners

Quick question for the Cab owners here.
Does our smaller rear window impact ideal placement of the radar detector?
I was thinking of placing mine really high on the windshield as others have suggested, but it won’t align with a straight shot out the rear window that way when the Cab top is closed.
Does it even matter? Appreciate the advice

Shouldn't matter at all. Even for the remote mount units, those can actually be placed behind a plastic bumper. The cloth top shouldn't matter at all. It's laser that requires line of sight, but you need laser jammers to properly protect against laser.
