Yes another which car should I keep poll 😆 You know me - I live life on the edge these days!
If you had an “opportunity” to sell your C2S back to the dealership for $10k less than the trade-in value for a guaranteed 992 GT3 allocation. Would you consider it?
Ive contemplated making the move into a GT car - though the thought of losing the back seats gives me cause to pause.
Depends on what you personally are looking for(not all of us here). Owning an GT3 I can tell you there are advantages(mostly track oriented, although if bragging rights are your thing-everyone loves the GT3, and of course there is the sound) and disadvantages. I found my GT3 a little too high-strung for the road in any useable daily fashion, it's a bit of a harsh ride and not the easiest to get in and out of with buckets. Have a C2S sitting currently at the RI port waiting to be processed which I'll use as a daily when the weather is nice.
Personally, and just from a looks standpoint: I think the current 992 is one of the most beautiful Carrera models ever made where the new GT3(and RS) front ends are going to take me a bit of time to appreciate fully.
The C2S has a beefier midrange and more grunt thanks to the turbochargers. It is going to feel quicker in general driving conditions. The GT3 makes its power higher in the rev range. If you’re winding it out, GT3 all the way, but on public roads, depending upon where you live, those opportunities may be limited.
If you’ve got kids or smaller people in your household, the backseat thing makes the car that much more useful. Pre-Covid, my wife and I could drop off our 12yo at his cousin’s place, go for a drive and coffee beverage adventure, then swing back and pick him up. You can’t do that with a two seater. It’s nice to have the option. Yes, if Porsche made a GT3 with back seats, many of us would buy that car.
They are 911s for very different missions and the best car fits your mission.
Kids are getting near college age and won't use the back seats in my C2S anyway. I asked for a GT3 Touring allocation and got on my dealer's list near the top, so I'm probably a couple years away (?).
I'm ok with the GT3 from a practicality standpoint as we have other cars, but will definitely be using it as a DD. Love the NA and think it may be one of our last opportunities to get a non-electrified NA 911.
My only concern is the ride not having driven one. Anyone who's driven a GT3, care to comment on how the ride would compare to a 992 C2S with SPASM?

If not a daily driver and the GT3 is a fun car do it heart beat. NA motors are dying, and nothing drives like a GT3, if you like to hear all the road noise less insulation with a fun motor that goes to 9k yes. Some will daily a GT3 I couldn’t it’s not fun a low speeds, and my view not a daily for street use my opinion.
And, FWIW, I find that driving a regular C2S around town is a bit painful. Thankfully the suspension (in Normal) is pretty forgiving, but knowing what the car can do I find that I either need to drive like an *** or get the heck out of town. The former isn't a good idea for a variety of reasons and the latter ceases being a daily driver. I did buy this to be a fun car, but, man--it just wants to go and I feel bad poking around.

Back on topic--still, get the GT3 :-)
I feel the exact same way! Luckily it’s not my daily driver. But whenever I drive my 2S for routine errands I find myself just annoyed with all of the cars around me
