I saw this in a youtube vid. Didn't love it surprisingly. Maybe if it had full Red deviated stitching or something it would pull together more.

Took these in the garage so the lighting is not so great. The color looks just like Doc_Ad but the pic came out much creamier.

I’m dredging up an old thread, but you car has identical colours to my current build spec.

How are the chalk seats holding up after a few more months of use?

Holding up beautifully. I get lots of compliments on them as well. Highly recommended.

I also love mine but they do make me nervous - I’ve have three kid (hey, it’s a family sedan!) and so far I’m over 12,000 miles in and no stains!

it will happen though.. and then I’m gonna wonder how to clean it properly

I had installed a special detail / coating on the centers so something to think about. It prevents staining and easy cleaning. Like a ppf for the seats.

Interesting. Do you have a link to the product? Who did you have install it for you?

can you tell it’s there when you sit on it or look at it?

Don’t recall the name of product but my ppf dealer did it. Southern CA. Placed is called Rhino Films and Detail. Ask for Alex (owner). Can’t tell at all it’s on there. Has super strong hydrophobic properties. If you spill something, stays on top and super easy to clean. Just wipes right off and no staining at all. 5 yr warranty.

Well done! love to see people using their cars. I’m one of the OCD people that trades in showroom condition cars every 3 years, which is a habit I’m slowly trying to change.

I recently saw a 992 owner loading their medium sized dog into the back seat. I was sitting in my macan at the time, talking to my dog in the back seat, and drooling over the thought of owning a 992 when a lightbulb lit up. With a bit of care and a couple towels, I should be able to do the same. So here I am researching my build spec with a big grin on m y face!

If yours is standing up to family use and abuse I think I’ll go for it. Gentian with black/chalk inserts is a stunning combo. The interior looks so much more premium than all black.

Feel free to plaster more pics of your car on here to help me survive the pending 12 mth wait for mine.

@MGC 911 what happened to your door sills? Those are sort of an eyesore no?

Had the Black/Bordeaux on my last Targa, but it was much more red leather than black, the black inserts tone it down a tad IMO. Plus a good way to add a good chunk of individuality for not much £££££

Has anyone done black interior with red inserts? I'd like to see guards and bordeaux inserts on black; vaguely wish I had selected that in my build to make it slightly bolder.

They look new. I planned to clean them with a quality leather cleaner/conditioner but have not needed to yet and have had my 992 since June.

Bumping old thread. Is yours black w/ chalk or slate gray w/chalk? Hard to tell in photo. Love the look, thinking of doing Cayenne in slate / chalk deviated to avoid the light bolsters of all chalk.

How do you order the white stitching on the wheel? Is it part of deviated full leather or a standalone option? I really like your choices on the interior.

Thanks,
DRP
