Hi there - washing the 992 C2S on Saturday, I noticed cracks on both door handles directly above where the plastic handle fixes onto the supporting brackets of the mechanism. Contacted the Porsche dealer (Reading) and they said they’ve never heard of a similar issue. Trying to work out if they’re telling porkies or if it’s just me. The car is a 69 plate with 3,500 miles in Agate Grey. Pics below. Can anyone else out there let me know if you’ve had similar issues? One crack on the bottom of the drivers side. Two cracks at the bottom of the handle on the passenger side.

I’ll have a check tomorrow on mine, newer but same colour.
I wonder if it’s screwed on from behind or some sort of epoxy fixing?
Either way, it’s a warranty job in my book, shouldn’t fail that quickly.
Last thought, we had a super hot summer, heat or sun damage?
Cheers - it looks like it’s screwed on - the cracks are exactly where the fixing is on the back of the handle. The damage is very new and I suspect it’s the recent arctic weather that’s made them brittle (that or they were over tightened when fitted). Not good enough though for a car less than 18 months old. I’m sure Porsche will sort - just a pain. Hope yours isn’t affected.

I’ll be interested to see what happens as mine was dumped on a dealer forecourt for the worst of the snow and not wrapped up in my garage where it’s doesn’t drop below zero.
Mine cracked all the way through vertically. I am taking it in this afternoon. I purchased the car in June so I assume it is warranty. It's a solid crack. Probably something for others to look after.
