Got a loaner whilst they fix my rattles.....
Ok, so the C4S coupe with 350 miles is in to sort out the rattles, let’s compare the loaner C2S cab with 4500 miles and it’s a little beaten up too.....
Same 18 way seats but without ventilation, seem much softer.
spasm, much harder ride even on comfort settings for the tyres, but pzeros are nice and quiet compared to the F1s
no RAS, you notice it parking, have to go an extra bit on the steering to get the same sort of angles.
rag top = even more rattles!
sports exhaust, only difference I can tell is it makes more noise outside but no difference inside.
2 vs 4 wheels driven.... no real difference.
It’s very dark.... black interior, no glass roof, tiny back window, dark car.... too claustrophobic for me
brakes feel squidgy compared to mine which are pin sharp and nicely progressive
It’s still quick, feels like it revs easier and smother, putting that down to it being run for more miles.
Anyway, take what you like from the above views.

Makes sense
For European cars with. PF the sports exhaust really does not bring that much more to the table
Strange that the breaks feel that way since there should be no difference in breaking between the C4S and the C2S
Nice that they gave you an equivalent car - in the US you would have got a Macan or Cayenne especially since there are so few 992's hanging around

It is the daily for someone at the dealership apparently, said I was happy with a macan but they insisted I have a sort of “like for like” whilst mine was in, then the wife’s macan in next Monday.
Everyone at the dealership is very nice, I sent an email to the DP saying how happy I was with the service, how well they have dealt with any issues so far and how good the SA was, got a call from him that I didn’t expect, he thanked me and said “we don’t normally get a thank you from customers” and “I’m sending your mail around the dealership, some people could learn something from it!”
Doesn’t hurt to be nice, might even get you a decent loan car from time to time, which was not my original goal.

It may feel claustrophobic but wait till a nice day and you take the top down. NOTHING beats that experience.
Plus, for all of you complaining that the PSE exhaust is weak: drive on the open road with the top down. It comes alive, especially at those higher rpms. It may not sound too great from inside the cabin, but it sounds much better from the outside. You appreciate that better with a cab than a coupe

I’ve had cabs in the past, BMWs, on a lovely day I agree, but too flash for me now and although the 911 feels lovely and tight the old 3 series used to scuttle shake like pornstar vibrator, not sure I can get over that.

You'll probably laugh at this but after 6 years in SoCal I miss those types of days......variety is the spice of life

Somehow I have always been fascinated by convertible sports cars. This being the only time in my life that I have ever purchased something like this, and with life being short, I knew from day one in shopping for the 911 that I wanted a cab. Plus, one of my sons told me he wished we had a convertible

You've made me appreciate my decision to omit ventilation, SPASM, and AWD which I did for all the reasons you mentioned. We'll see this summer if Sport Tex is sufficient for cooling.
Having no traction issues with this much power and RWD is part of what makes the 911 so special to me.
Hope they're able to fix your rattles.
