JAX15GTS - great looking car and fantastic garage! What kind of material is that on your garage floor?

jkb545 a local company called Garage Living it is an industrial 2 part epoxy. They inlay the crest the clear epoxy over the top so it is all even. They also did cabinets and slot wall. When i fist moved in did the Home depot stuff didnt stick as well as wanted. They come in with a big floor grinder removed it all no, no dust or mess. Filled in all cracks, done in 3 days.

^ My only issue with these epoxy floors is that they get wet and slippery and don't absorb water.

Definitely a problem in snowy weather when you pull into a garage with snow covered tires. The snow melts and just sits there.

Yes, I have them also and they are treacherous when wet.

I have epoxy floors & they’re great for washing the car indoors. I just use a wet-vac...

How do you manage to not slip when they are wet? No matter what kind of soles I have on my shoes, I would go flying if I'm not extremely careful. Fortunately, they only get a little wet when I drag in water when it's raining, but I keep a carpet runner along side the car to step out onto. I also use the runner to ride my motorcycles on between my cars into a rear garage bay where I keep them--I would never try that if I didn't have the runner since the tires react the same way if I'm coming into the garage when it's raining.

I had worried about it being slick; but I’ve actually got a few pairs of shoes that grip so well, you could play basketball on the wet epoxy 🤣

Wish I had found something like that. All of my friends that have epoxied their floors, no matter who did the install or what material they used, have had the same problem.
