Default are you happy with your choice of seats ?

I chose 14 way, thinking that it was the only possibility for my fat butt. But, now, in spirited driving,I find I slide around more than I like.

14 way seats with moderate bolstering
I wish I had ordered the 18 way with higher bolsters.

Have 18-ways and couldn't be happier with them. Super comfortable for all-day drives, easy to get in and out of with setting enabled to move seat back and wheel up on ingress/egress. Seat back color (if you don't do leather upgrade) could be problematic with some interior and exterior colors, but the silver/grey works great in a black interior with Agate exterior.

18-ways w/Sport Tex. Comfortable at all temps and matches well w/silver seat back shell.

Flip side - 14 ways are easier to get in and out of. Nice for daily driving.

Sliding around on 4/14-way sport seats are the main reason to go with sport+ seats.

Sport+ seats hug you in during spirited drives/track days.

My 18-way S+ seats specifically are perfect! You can customize different memory settings that you can choose for your driving style.

You can have the bolsters adjusted into a relaxed setting for cruising + also better ingress/egress; or tighten the bolsters for aggressive driving + angle the seat to “build your own” bucket.

Now that I’ve owned sport-tex 18’s. I will never go back to leather. They are so grippy! You’re literally planted in the seat during spirited drives.

I ordered the 4 way SS+ without ever having sat in them and I was a bit worried until I took delivery adjusted the seat depth/height/pitch and have not touched since...very sporty/comfortable with a feeling of secureness.

The only thing better than my leather 18-ways would be SportTex 18-ways. Just wish Porsche offered them without a leather upgrade as I prefer the interior without leather everywhere.

I was planning on the 18 way until I sat in them and the 14. I then ended up going with the 14. We all have a different set of hips, back, ***, etc. We’ll see if my feelings change after owning for a while. If I at some point get a car primarily for the track I might approach things differently.

I'm very happy with my 18 ways. I even did a 17hr day in them. Coming up to 15k miles in my C4S.

I am also happy with my 18 ways.. Love how comfortable they are for Daily Driving. When I order my next one I am ABSOLUTELY getting the SportTex. I love that look, and with a Manual Transmission, definitely more throw back look. Dang it, wish I got those on my 992 C4S.

18 way leather seats. Rather glad my better half insisted on them.

Smiles,
I know that the Sport-Tex seats don't allow for ventilation which leaves me wondering if they still have adjustable heating built-in like the leather seats?
I see posts stating that these seats keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter which raised the question.
