And a tip! When you whack it up over time (like we all do), rather than spending another $ 200 on a new one, the ABS plastic will sand down (by hand). Get it nice and smooth finishing off at 400 grit wet, then rattle can it with ABS Primer, color coat and clear. A little painter's tape and for $ 60 in color correct paint & primers you have a custom-painted front lip that you can restore over and over as it gets hit. This is EASY to do gentlemen, don't think you have to take it to a pro, and no one short of a concours inspection is going to ge on their hands and knees and inspect the orange peel on it.
My 991 I painted the PASM lip I got from Suncoast, several times.....whack it, paint it.
I got the Adventurine Green in the Coupe. Looks fabulous in the Cabriolet !
If/when you go to buy this spoiler, be sure to pay attention to the shipping cost. Due to it's length it probably makes for one very expensive item to ship. Some on-line dealers showing upwards of $50. Wow!
It's a very easy install. I replaced my stock Carrera front spoiler with the sport spoiler that is on the Carrera S version. I did it in my garage without lifting the vehicle and without taking off the front bumper. Remove the 6 screws and pull the existing one straight out and then push the new one in place and replace the 6 screws. Very easy with no damage to anything. Hope this helps.
installing my sport front lip this weekend. when you say "pull the existing straight out" which was is "out". down towards ground or forward towards front of car? just asking for clarification, to not f* anything up.
I have scraped my lip a few times, what I do;
Sand or file down the mark depending on how deep the scratches are.
Process from 100 grit to 800 grit
Use a propane torch after sanding to go over effected area lightly just to melt the small burs left from sanding.
Looks like new for me.
I rerpeat after each mis-step.
it's crazy that the lower lip for the regular bumper is ~$300-$350 dollars and the one for the sport design bumper is ~$650 to $700. Not sure why such a large delta when they seem similar.
I did this last year. Not easy to get the old spoiler out, I destroyed it in the process. Installing the new one was easy enough, the only hard part was getting this plastic support tabs underneath to all deploy correctly. It took be about an hour to do it all.
Does anyone know where I can buy the standard front lip spoiler for the 992? Looks like Suncoast one is for Sport PASM and I don't see the standard one.
Sounds like it'll it fit standard setup, but hoping to preserve the better ground clearance.
Thanks for the the help and comments in this thread.
I just replaced my MY20 C2S sport spoiler. Suncoast charged shipping so a little more than others have paid ($475 including CA sales tax). 6 hex screws (I used 5/32"). Yanking the old one off seems harder than pushing the new one in, but pretty straight forward. It's still an annoyance, time, dirty hands, etc. so I'm glad I have FAL.
For reference, Suncoast part links (if you do not have the Sport Design bumper):
PASM sport spoiler lip (part # 992-807-100-B-OK1): here
Porsche part number for the spoiler lip depends upon (1) if your car has PASM and (2) whether your car has the Sport Design vs. regular bumper. See this thread!

Reason: Trying to correct spoiler lip part numbers
So is this the correct Part # for the extended lip for a non-sport design extended lip? :992-807-100-B-OK1
Yes that is the part # for the lip that comes standard on a 992.1 car with sport PASM and non-sport design bumper. (Source: receipt from local Porsche parts dept.)
That part number you quoted gives you this lip. Compatible cars are spelled out in the Suncoast description.
