A GT Silver Thread? Ok, I'll add my new one I got last week. Still haven't picked it up and driven it home yet but it still has to get the PPF done. I would ONLY have gotten GT Silver. No other color worked for me.

As someone who has a roof with both dolomite silver and gt sliver (long story but a factory mistake) I would have loved to have ordered a plain GT silver roof and no sun roof. Go with the all classic look is my opinion and yes, that manual transmission is brilliant!

Porsche992, I hadn't realized that you are the one with the two-tone roof; I don't envy you at all. I read thru your thread on this, and it appears that you have three options: 1) do nothing, 2) paint it, or 3) replace the part. Have you decided what you are going to do?

I was adviced to not replace it even though they have the painted part at the dealership. I have a pet peeve with rattles and if this brings rattles it would bother me more than the color mistake. Porsche NA did compensate me a bit so i got a discount at least. I may end up getting it painted in place. It really depends on the day , sometimes it bothers me sometimes it doesnt and find it quiet funny I have this rare thing on my 911 😅 to answer your question i dont know what to do at this point 😑
