Default Production numbers

I am curious how many 2020 992’s were produced with a manual transmission. I can find general unit numbers, but not the break down. Can anybody point me in the right direction?

Seriously? I think it’s probably a low number since MT launched just before the COVID shutdown, then they moved over to ‘2021 models early. I was just wondering if a ‘20 MT was a bit of a unicorn but couldn’t find the detail production numbers.

If you go to Vinanalytics, you can open your build sheet and it does say that it is manual transmission, I just don't know if there is a way (without going through each one individually) to query the body of the text to extract the number of manual ones. Maybe the poster in the other threads that has shared stats knows of a way, but I think they just did the separation of Base, S, 4S, Cab, etc. which is available on the primary screen (along with MSRP), so that part is easier to query. Mine has a build date of January 2020, delivered in March to the dealer just before the shut down - so likely one of the first ones delivered in the US (subjectively - based on posting and pics people posted here). So my vin ends in 228833 - so based on that, that cuts the list in half (if you sort by vin, and start a bit before that). But then you would have to work your way down from there individually if there is no way to do a search without individually opening each build sheet.

Yeah, OK. Being serious I think you're right in that with the whole COVID thing the numbers will be low. It certainly seems like there are many more MY21 ones around.

Thanks for that. I’ll give it a shot when I have a block of time.
