When it comes to photography, just as with driving, the majority of people think they are better than average.

 

 

 

 

I actually think I'm a terrible photographer - I'm just completely fiscally irresponsible when it comes to photo gear.

(Said tongue in cheek - I've actually had photos in publications, but I never think they're that good - at least it keeps me working at getting better).

 

Grabbed a few shots over the weekend - artistic, but not art. Still happy with the way they turned out.

and that buying a better/more expensive camera/car will automatically make them a better photographer/driver.

 

I think lenses make more of a difference than the camera but composition and understanding light and depth of field still make the biggest difference.

I do need a viewfinder, though - I’ve tried with a phone and I can’t get used to composing on one.

 

I've decided to repost this here because I think this is artwork. A dirty red Porsche is a work of art, in my humble opinion
