Side decals? Starting to get configurator fever...
I'm getting to the point where I'm getting double vision from playing with the configurator, so wanted to see what others thought...just for another point of view
I like how the decal breaks up the paint and ties into the black motif with the wheels and carbon mirrors. I've never spec'ed decals, so I'm not 100%. The small decals are obviously the safer choice
Here's a real world example of a very similar build and small decals, albeit with PCCBs and sunroof:

It doesn't look bad, I'm just not a fan of stickers on the car. At least you can order it and always take it off if you get to a point you don't like it.

The great thing about the decals. You can order without and easily put them on (or have them put on after) if you choose to. Just an option if you are on the fence, and they are cheap to buy after the fact. You likely will be doing a PPF after you buy, the installers of PPF can do this when doing it. That way if in doubt, you can do it after or the PPF guys can tape it on temporarily while doing the PPF and you can look and see before they affix them.

In fact it is cheaper to buy them as accessories later than option them: https://www.suncoastparts.com/catego...rboextacc.html
$280 for the Porsche logo from Suncoast compared to $560 optioned from Porsche.

Looks much nicer without... It's not a rally car.

I like the aftermarket options that are like option #3 but go all the way to the back wheel well.

I am not usually a decal guy, but the both of those look good to me. My wife lived the bigger set and keeps asking me to get them.

The only decal I like on 911s is the "PORSCHE" that runs the whole length of the side, like the 911R and the classic ones from the 70s

I've got the Porsche Side Stripe coming for my car, shipping out of England this week, I'll do a before/after photo. He does them for half the price of factory OEM. 92 Sterling Pounds for a set - whatever that converts to in US Dollars.

I like the small decal. It's a nice subtle touch imo. However I also agree with the above statement. The long decal is very nice, just not as offered on the 992 (which was simply change for change's sake imo). Everyone says the 991's full side stripe fits the 992 perfectly, so if you go in that direction, I'd opt for an aftermarket 991 full stripe.

Thank all
I tend to agree - I like the stripe that extends the length of the car. The 911R looked sharp with this, but stripes do fit the character of the 911R better than a Turbo. Otherwise, I've decided against the sticker.
