Default CS4 or CS2 with leather and ? options

Hi, I’m going to purchase a new 992 in gentian blue, it will be a cab. I live outside Washington DC...so you know my weather situation. So for budget compliance I need to decide:
1) the S4 or 2 with leather
2) if leather black or caulk

The other options included are premium, sport, sport design packages, rear axle steering and the turbo wheels. Anything missing? Any other trade offs you’d make to get leather with the 4s.

I greatly appreciate all thoughts in advance.
Thanks
George

The C4S only if your DD in a very snowy area...I drove a RWD M3 for many years with snow tires and it did great...I'd say save the $7-8K/weight and get 2S with leather.

For a cab your interior will be seen a lot and I didn't skimp there...get leather (color up to you) and consider leather steering column and visors along with crests...again, your interior will be seen a lot by you and others with a cab.

I have the C4S in Manual Transmission, all the options you list (RAS, SPASM, Chrono, 18ways, Bose, etc.) (but not full leather). I do daily drive mine (have the winter 19/20 setup for winter tires). Having had a number of 911s, the quality of this non-full leather is pretty good. I do not miss it. I did buy this off the lot early March when looking for the unicorn Manual, which only 2-3 had arrived. So I could not be choosy, and thought ordering with the pandemic going on, didn't know the timing/delays, etc. etc.

My last few had full leather, and it is certainly richer feel. But quality wise I am very happy with my base leather interior. I would not have given up more of the performance options for it. My 2 cents anyway.

My car (arriving in the spring) is very similar to your spec. I avoided the 4, however, and I live very near you. The 4 is heavier, doesn't steer quite as well, and costs seven grand. Where we live, there are only a couple of big storms a year, and arguably, you shouldn't be driving a 911 in really bad snow, primarily because you risk getting slammed by someone who doesn't know how to drive in bad weather. Are you getting PDK or the manual? I've opted for the latter since I don't have to drive in rush hour traffic. The consensus seems to be that the manual adds another dimension of fun to a car that is built primarily to entertain the driver.

I'm in Alexandria VA and just took delivery of a 2021 992 Cab S (manual) with Full Cow, PDCC, Rear Wheel Steering, PASM, Premium Package, and several other options. If you want to see one in person, you can stop by my store sometime George (long as the weather is nice, I will drive it in). My is 2WD, I don't care for the weight and complexity of all-wheel drive. I use a 4WD pickup on really crappy snow days, but I haven't even had my snowblower out in three years. You will regret not getting full leather - the vinyl interior is cheap, had it on my 2014. Put the money in cow, before Sport Design is my recommendation. - Duane
