Default Bumper panel gap

So after how many months of ownership I have never noticed a small gap in my front bumper and headlight area.

The passenger side is tight but the driver side is off by a tiny bit but enough to annoy me now I know it's there.

I went to my dealership and they said its not worth adjusting because they might have to take it to a body shop and it might screw up other things.

The gap is not big, the car was in no accidents and nothing happened to it as far as I know. So does anyone else have these weird issues?

See the difference? You can zoom in though the pics aren't great but one is tight to the body and the other has a bit of space.

Did you get your car PPF’d or anything where’d they remove the bumper? Mine is also ever-so-slightly off as well.

Good question... No just ceramic coating which I don't think they did.

Yes, same on my car. Panel gap and alignment is a little inconsistent esp. around the sunroof area. Especially noticeable on light coloured cars like yours. Can't say it worries me.

We’re noticing this on 992 generations...991.2 has the rear taillight paint issue, and it seems 992 has the gap issue you’re mentioning

we’ve tried on a few occasions to see if we can adjust it and make it better, but I think it’s the mold of the bumper or slight tolerance discrepancy

You and me seem to have the same issues. Maybe early adopter 992 aches. Lol 😂

Ya yours is tight. But you are right. Could be the sports front end difference.

Very interesting.. Ya when I took it to the dealer they basically laughed at me and said it's really nothing. But I can't stop noticing it now I noticed 😂

Have just taken delivery last month of my 2021 Carerra S..also Chalk and don't see anything. Maybe early 2020 cars? Or maybe I need my glasses rechecked? LOL. I wouldn't bother me that much...and would enjoy the car...they're great otherwise.

Looks good! I'll have to take a front pic when I can and compare. It annoys the hell out of me haha

After further review could you take a pic of your driver side front again?
