We have a pretty big community of "car spotters" in Zurich. The majority of them are teenagers / young men and they spend their entire afternoons taking pics of cars and posting them on insta.

I alway stop and talk to them and make it clear that we support them. I'd much rather have them spending their afternoons taking pics of cards then in front of a screen.

Amen. That means a lot to them that you stop and talk. When I was a teen, adults that would talk to me about their cars meant a lot and grew my love of automobiles.
