I daily drive a 17 Ford Raptor and weekend the .1rs. The reason I enjoy the rs is that it feels special when you get in and start it. I was looking at a c4s with the same color (lava orange) and aero kit but the deciding factor was that the c4s felt too much like a daily and not super special to me and I wanted something that is a event every time I fire it up! I live on a mountain so it mostly gets lots of corners on the way to Palm Desert for our small errands it blows on the freeway in comparison to the Raptor but vice versa on the twisty’s! I will never sell it but am looking to add maybe a 992 gt3 with sofas for long drives in a few years.
I routinely did Costco runs in my RS. The big *** wing was perfect for the food court. Perfect place to put those hot dogs.
lol that’s right. We throw shopping bags on the wings while belting in the kids. Just a fun weekend toy even for the stupidest errands. Have a C2S in port purgatory for our daily family hauler.
How many miles in your GT3 and GT3 RS were put on north of the 45th parallel? Let's be clear...there's a BIG difference between a GT3 and GT3RS. I wasn't suggesting GT3 as a DD isn't possible, just an RS. Many countries in the world have REALLY crappy roads, and driving a GT3RS as your only car that you use every day, rain or shine, summer and winter...which is the definition of a DD...is not practical. Maybe if you live where palm trees line the streets and frost heave is a foreign concept it might be doable. But practical in the rest of the world? It's just not. lol.
Anywhere on can daily a regular 911, one can daily a GT3 or GT3/2 RS.
I couldn’t daily drive a gt3 or Gt3rs, just wasn’t tolerable for me. But funny enough I found the RS always was more comfortable than the gt3, it was smoother and more compliant..I had both the .1 versions or both and .2 versions of both and I’m both cases I found the RS ride to and from the track to be a lot better.
2016 with 204 miles. They don't include the spec sheet, but I'm betting they have the window sticker available.
it’s a beautiful spec I had the same car and I sold it to Motors Cars two years ago when the market was hot above MSRP. I buy cars from them very good people, and fair .........they can’t sell the car CPO as they’re not an official dealer for Porsche. They sell new Mclaren, Rolls Royce, Lambo, Aston Martin, now Koenigsegg. Most of the customer that shops here have 6 or more cars and get bored really fast. The guy who purchased my UV GT3 RS bought my car and a Lambo and a Mclaren in the same day. Make a good offer on the UV they will sell pending what they’re in it for. Only problem is you will take a bath if you trade the 992. I wouldn’t pay more than 155k for the RS it’s still a 5 year old car. By the way the spec is about 208k. Below is my UV I regretted selling I loved the color, and I thought about buying the one you posted, but no room and can’t drive the stuff I have. I liked my 2016 RS more than my 2019 RS by the way.

Thank you for the feedback and info!!
I don’t have the 992 yet, but I do have $46k in equity from my Shelby pre-trade @ Hennessy. So a PCNA CPO is highly attractive from
an ease-of-transaction standpoint, but $155 for the RS is awfully sweet bait.
Motor Cars hosted a McLaren event a few years ago to have clients/potential clients come out and drive the new car. I forget which one it was, but I got an invite and took my best friend along who drove an old beat up Saturn at the time (he’s a swim coach). Everyone was really nice and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from them.

Right. I DD my C4 in weather and on roads such as this. Not exactly GT3RS friendly (and one last time, this discussion is about the usability of a GT3RS, not a GT3).
