Am I a slave to my 911? Hmm, good question but before I answer I will have to ask the 992 for permission to comment on that particular question.

Just bought this 89 Carrera. It took the previous owners 31 years to put 41k miles on it. I won’t take nearly that long putting the next 41k miles on it. I have two modern Porsches and plan to daily drive this in the mix with those other cars.

For that very reason, I did the following. Full SunTek Wrap, Full Ceramic Coating including the wheels. Then, I was instructed that I could bring the car, anytime, to a Touchless Car Wash. And, periodically, do a simple hand panel washing, and then apply the shine. No big purchases for washing items, or weekly hourly washings....simple...You just have to be willing to spend a wad for the protection items.

Yes,
I have a ceramic coating too. Helps with bird poo.
Only every clean it with the pressure washer.

Its all very foul wet and dirty around here at the moment though.

Nature is winning!
