Default Luxury Experience Concierge?

I bought some coffee earlier from a lovely young lady who told me, after she saw my car, that she used to work for the local Porsche dealership is a "Luxury Experience Concierge." She told me she was even sent to Atlanta for training. Stiletto heels were part of her required attire. I'm on my 6th 911 and I have NEVER seen one of these Concierge's at the dealership. Anyone else?

Yeah, but this is even worse. I'm on my 6th 911, so I've been giving them my money and I've never even had a chance to meet one of these lovely Concierge's at the dealership.

Local dealer had such a position a couple of years ago and it was a total disaster. You had to tell her what your business was before you could talk to anyone else.

Another padding of the profits for the dealer, added to Porsche Car Connect, Porsche sun glasses or watches for astronomic prices etc. etc. none of which has anything to do with a Porsche or fahrvergnügen. But as long as there are suckers...

That's one great thing I love about Tesla, they did away with dealerships, maybe one day Porsche will as well or take them directly in hand and ensure a uniform training of techs (you can add VDub and Audi to that as well btw).

Well, if you're going to spend $250k+ on a Porsche, they least they can do is provide some "enticements" but the question is what exactly she had to DO as a "Luxury Experience Concierge."

The mind boggles at the thought. LOL!

I think maybe I didn't explain this very well. This wasn't some kind of service that owners sign up and pay for. I think her job was to basically look hot and walk around the dealership, asking people if they needed anything. Maybe this was something that Porsche only did for a brief period? I just know I've never seen any hot women working at the local Porsche dealership over the last 20 years.

Maybe she worked these guys and was simply looking for potential clients at a Porsche dealer.

I'm starting to think this girl maybe dated the owner or the manager of the dealership and he made this whole thing up and sold her on the idea that it was a real thing. I'm going to have to ask her a bit more about the "training" that she had to fly to Atlanta for. From Alaska, Atlanta is basically halfway "around the world."

It was, but it was a few years back, I guess. She said it didn't pay well and she wasn't there for very long. This job doesn't seem to be a real thing that existed at other Porsche dealerships, so I honestly think someone made up this job either because they were either dating this girl or because they wanted to try to date her. I'm just curious to hear more about the part where she was sent to Atlanta for training. That part seems elaborate and expensive for a ruse such as this one.

The dealership in Bend Oregon is also a Kendall dealership and they had a woman in that position for a short time just after Kendall acquired the dealership and had build a new facility.

So it was after Morrison left the building then?. There's a Darlene Snow there now as "Customer Experience Manager". No idea what she does, and she certainly did nothing to alter the crap experience I had buying the wife's Macan but then again neither did the rest of the Sales Team.

The tech side is good as I've known Gregg from years back when he had his own shop called German Steel as is Iain the Gold Tech.

A lot of money spent on smoke and mirrors for the new building (from where they were before), but I know I won't be buying anything from them nor stopping by once the warranty is over.
