Default A 992 C4S Getting The HRE Performance Wheel Treatment – by Wheels Boutique

Just like every other automotive enthusiast we get very excited whenever a new vehicle model is launched – especially when that model is the latest generation of the legendary 911. We love the new Porsche 992 and wheel orders are just now getting into the hands of customers so as time continues to progress we will see more & more photos of modified versions. The Carrera 4S showcased below does a terrific job of blending old with new regarding the chosen wheel design. HRE’s P200’s have that classic mesh look but a modern twist with their 360 degree spoke surfacing that creates a directional effect at the end of each wheel which so few wheel companies have the capability to do. Tell us what you think about this Porsche and give us a call when you’re ready to personalize your own exactly to your tastes.

Stunning setup. I could never get away with a 22" wheel/tire combo here (roads are trash) but if I could...I would!

What about 20 months after it's launched?

No Prices on your Website. Might be to expensive, I suppose.

Most forged are, HRE is no exception. But they also shave quite a bit of weight. I ended up going with HRE FlowForm, but maybe on the 992.2 I’ll finally go with forged...

Understood. That's not the motivation for my slightly sarcastic comment. In general, the perspective of a seller, to not publish a price typically is based in a belief that the potential customer will be put off by the price they wish to charge. OTOH the perspective of most potential customers, when a price is not provided, is to assume the price is higher than the competition. Often this "best guess" on the potential customer's part is actually greater than what the seller desires; not the other way around. Sort of the "If you have to ask, you can't afford it." logic. Not a good marketing strategy IMHO.

Since these HRE's are custom built to order pricing will fluctuate greatly depending on the sizing & finish that the customer chooses. Part of our job is to go over all of the pricing options carefully with each individual customer to help guide them towards the best choice for themselves. For those who are interested in detailed pricing for these wheels they can reach out to me directly and I will help every step of the way.

Most wheels there add up to $15k or more. They charge for brushed finishes and then add another charge for a polished look. It’s a great business because gawdy wheels find suitors in Miami to LA.

Every wheel brand charges for Brushed or Polished finishes because of the amount of work that is involved in creating such a finish. Here's a video that we produced along with HRE to showcase the manufacturing process. You can skip to the 5:50 mark to see how these brushed & polished finishes are accomplished. Thank for chiming in giving us the chance to educate.

Thanks for the education. I believe the wheels below underwent similar cutting edge procedures. Just happens to be half the price for the lightweight alloys compared to R101LW.
No worries. I understand pricing strategies and happen to love HREs. I can also have an informed opinion.
