It's a handling term. In a turn, your car can either understeer, oversteer, or be neutral. Understeer is when the front tires are turned in but the car pushes straight ahead instead of turning the car. Oversteer is when the rear wheels kick out and the rear of the car tries to pass the front of the car (think drifting). Neutral is when neither event happens and the car just goes through the turn. When a neutral car loses grip, all four wheels slide in the same direction and the car pushes to the outside of the turn. A four wheel drift is a wonderful feeling..... Very controllable.
