I plan to add black side decal and black stone guard on my Carmine Red to break up the red. Front and rear of the car has enough black pieces but the side is a bit too plain for me.
What do you guys think? The rear is de-badged.

You asked...
...no. That red does not need to be broken up. The decal I can accept. The stone guard? Not a chance.
I love the profile otherwise!
Edit: You say it looks too plain. In the configurator, I can understand that conclusion. In the flesh, TRUST ME, it won’t look too plain.

the model decal works with teh same colors you would use at a track (white/yellow/orange/green). carmine red is more a GT style color (a very nice one). and doesn't work with wings or decals.
Carmine red is such a beautiful color it’s a sin to cover any of it up. Also, the black breaks up the classic coke bottle styling of your car. This is where the narrow center section at the door is surrounded by flaring fenders, especially the lovely compound curves of the rear quarter panel.
I love the responses from all of you.
Thank you!
Let's see what I decide to do, I already pulled the trigger on both the model decals and the black stone guards from suncoast. If I don't like the black stone guards, it's as simple as just removing it. I'll test it on one side and post here later.

Before...a little plain.
After...maybe a little busy but it can come off at anytime. The black went right over the clear stone guard.
FWIW, my detailer was unable to get the Suncoast stone guard I provided to fit properly. Ended up doing a custom one with material they had on hand. Very happy with how it turned out . . .
All personal taste of course. For me, I'm not a fan of the stone guard but love the legacy full side Porsche stripe and think it looks especially great on bright colors including Carmine. I don't like the 992 partial stripe which to me is change for change's sake.
