worse part is I've literally had nothing to do for months and now that I've got two busy days, this happens... I just hope they fix it right, once and fast!

Oh no! That ruins my impression of him--I thought he was a good guy. I always hate to hear this kind of stuff about people whose work I have enjoyed.

In life chit happens. I'm 100% sure they didnt do this intentionally. So long as the dealer has great service and resolves the issues, life is good, right? Get car fixed, go for spirited drive, smile and enjoy!

Mine did that within a couple of days of delivery. Jump start and all good, hasn't happened since. I swear I didn't leave a key in the car, door ajar or whatever.

but why they messed with your battery is a mystery to me on a 10k service; do they cycle it?

Would love to know what happened as I am due for 10k service in a few months. Hope it turns out to be something minor and simple!!

Oil change is all they really did.

How long is your drive home from dealer? Short trip?

I am thinking somehow they ran down your battery during service.

What was the verdict? Battery loose? Bad battery? Key fobs died? Inquiring minds would like to know!

Yes I would like to know as well. This would nag me to no end knowing there is a loose cannon somewhere.

Car still at dealer ... I didn't head back from them before they closed at 3pm yesterday.. I plan to call as soon as they open today.

Ok..

This just in from the SA:

Good morning, no problems at all when the car arrived. It fired right up. My tech has it in his stall already this morning (fired right up) He has to knock out a calibration on another car and will run his final VAL. I'll get back to you later this morning. (battery did not drain)

Of course. Dealer can't replicate issue. Never fails.

Hopefully it's something super simple that they figure out and fix. Good luck.

Yeah... really bothers me when they do this.. and treat you like "You imagined it" .. I pray Porsche documents this stuff on their end for any potential issues to actually be addressed.

When this type of answer comes from the dealer, I always WONDER if they found something that they screwed up, fixed it, and then promptly covered it up so to speak.
