while using CarPlay and Waze, the sound volume of warnings about police or accidents etc is low and I can’t seem to see how to increase this.
i can’t find a volume within the app and I have tried turning the volume up when an instruction is provided by Waze to see if this helps, but to no avail.

I believe it’s in the system volume area. I know it’s in there because I turned my volume down. If nobody has the exact mapping to it, I’ll check it out for you later today.

You can also turn up/down volume while CarPlay is talking to adjust it.

i did try this and it seems to only control the music that’s playing at the time. Have you managed to get this to work with Waze or another CarPlay app?

I think what you need is to adjust the settings in the app. Click search and you will see a screen with your favorite destinations. Click the setttings cog at the top left. Voice and sound. And adjust volume. I have mine set at about 1/3 as otherwise it was too loud compared to music/podcasts it interrupted. Maybe yours needs to be adjusted up a little. HTH
