Does this apply only to the USA? I haven't heard of any such thing.

This is my 3rd trip. First two cars were great--I'm excited to get this one but wishing I went for a few more options. Oh well, guess that just means there will need to be a 4th trip too!

I don't know how Canada works, but MY2021 Porsches have not yet received EPA (and for those of us in California, CARB) certification yet. So they can't be released until certification is made.

The ship has been sitting in Halifax for a day and a half. Anyone know how long they usually sit there?

I have been tracking the same - even the draught depth isnt changing. I am not sure if they are getting any cars off right now. Container ships on the other have been churning in and out.

Very clever to check the draught depth...I thought it was due in Davisville on the 28th..so it needs to get moving or it will be late.

Made it to Davisville. Last stop on the ship for me! Wonder how long they hold it for emissions certification.

Rumor Control...Heard EPA certification would happen somewhere between 09/09 - 09/11...

I'm hearing the same dates...supposedly they hold the car at the port until then too. They are not even moving them to the dealers.

Our Macan GTS sat for a month in San Diego waiting a couple of years ago, because of the VW debacle. They cannot leave the holding areas until the approval...
