Actual photos of 930 leather option

Just put my deposit for a 992 C4 awaiting an allocation. Your interior is one of my options, however my only holdback is that it won’t survive the stains especially having two devils aged 5 & 3. Can we have an update on what do you think of the durability of the interior? Did/Can you apply something to help keeping it fresh?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I was nervous, but couldn't be more pleasantly surprised and still love the interior. Struggled with the same q as to whether or not to protect it with some sort of coating, ultimately didn't. Zero issues with dye transfer, etc., seats still look amazing after 8 months and 10,500 miles of daily driving. If the weather here clears up and the sun comes out I'll head to the garage and take some update pics.
Beware putting a coffee cup in the passenger cupholder (you're getting PDK so won't have to worry as much about the thoughtless placement of the driver's cupholder in a manual), because coffee dripping into the door speaker perforations is a pain in the *** to clean away, but it comes out.
Love that you're going to take your kids in it...i have two boys, 5 and 1, 1yo is still rear-facing and no shot you get one of those in the car comfortably, my 5yo's booster seat works great with a protective pad underneath it. I got the 18-ways with the grey plastic backs which are standing up to his kicking them super well. Get a wet microfiber and rub 'em down and they're back to new.
If I had to get this car again I would still order it exactly as I did. It's not a fragile car, it's meant to get used. It has been the best car I could have imagined spending every day in.

Thanks a lot for such a wholesome answer. I was going for Gentian Blue with Bordeaux Red interior and while i think it looks great, i just think its a lazy choice. Your answer may have just changed my mind especially that the car will have a much more spacious interior.
If i end up going with the chalk interior, i will also get RY Tach, Chrono and seatbelts. Which i think would go great with yellow brake clippers.
can’t wait for your update pictures.
thank you.

The 930 package was one of the best aesthetic choices I made in my build. It makes a huge change in the feeling of the interior and eliminates those large, smooth swathes of leather on the center of the door cards that look a little less premium to me.

What is the quilting stitching color? Is it color of the leather or chalk? Some pictures where the leather is black the stitching color appears chalk. Wouldnt this be a problem if you have a custom deviated stitching color (like yellow) and the door and the seats would have both sets of colored stitches?

All of the 930 pack stitching on the seat centers and inner door panels is non-contrasting and will match the color of the leather. Even if you do a fully deviated stitch interior they will not deviate the 930 package stitching (except perhaps as a CXX special order, I guess).

It's been discussed in a number of threads about the 930 package.
Here is a closeup of mine:
