Thinking about a low optioned car 992 4S.
i wonder if I will hate the base seats over time. I used to have for a short time before in 2017 a 991.2 base, and I thought the seats were ok.
Also, since this is a zero optioned car I wonder realistically how much off MSRP the dealer would be willing to go. Car has been sitting a bit. It’s a 121k car, with absolutely nothing added in options.
Do a search, there are several threads that cover the choice between 4-way, 14-way and 18-way seats for the 992 and people's firsthand opinions of each. There's even a thread (at this moment in time) right below yours discussing 4-way vs 18-way.
Thanks didn’t realize that 4 ways we’re base seats and not the sport plus seats.
There's 4-way sport seats, and 4-way sports seats plus. The price delta is $440.
Closest to the 4-way sport seats that I've sat in are 14-ways (same shape, with more adjustability, obviously), and they are certainly good seats, but I'd prefer the bolstering on the SS+. Just my preference. You'll have to sit in some 992s to make your own choice.

Anyone have the base seats ? Like them ?
Base seats are fine. Porsche doesn't make a bad seat. The flatter bolster make ingress/egress easier which is nice for a DD. It's definitely not a reason to reject a car.
Less options, less cushion for discount. That said - it's sitting on their floor plan and I'm sure they'd like to move it.
Low option C4S is a bit of an oddball - should work in your favor.
Base seats are no issue, I have 18w bc of lateral support for track days. I found the 4 and 14w to be very nice as well.
I didn't like the 14w on the track on my 991.1 and .2, you're tossed around like a rag doll.
Discounts are region dependent. I bought mine from the lot past September, one week after the cars started to arrive at 4% off o the horrible Chicago market.

Seats change the character of the car; check out the 4-way vs 18-way thread for the varying opinions. What really matters though is what you think. You've said you thought the 4-ways were OK in you 991.1, but I'd encourage at least sitting in Sport Plus an 18-ways before deciding. I wouldn't own a Porsche without Sport Plus 4 -ways or 18-ways no matter how it was otherwise optioned or how low the price.
Depends where you are located for the % off. I live in the DC area and could reasonable expect 6-9% off without the dealer laughing in my face for a low-spec 4S at that low MSRP price point. Like rk-d stated, the dealer is always motivated to move stuff off their floorplan....especially for a not-so-common spec of 4S...those usually are spec'd out to high $140's and up.
About the seats: I have the 18-ways and found them to be uncomfortable for longer drives. I'm 5'-8" and in great shape (workout 4 times a week and am a nut about nutrition). I've concluded if I were 2 inches taller my shoulders and upper back wouldn't be pushed so far forward in the seat by the upper side bolsters that my lower spine can't get pressure taken off of it. If I was a little taller, they would be the perfect seats. Next 911 I spec, I'm going to get the 14-ways. I'd do the 4-way Sport+ to save some money, but they have the same aggressive upper bolstering as the 18-ways, but the bolsters just aren't adjustable.
