Does anyone know when it will resume it’s journey? I would assume it’ll be on the seas again by the am tomorrow

It just left port headed to Jacksonville. Not sure how much this matters though since we don't have a decent idea of when it will clear EPA. I think our cars will sit in port for a few weeks at least.

I’m gonna be optimistic. I don’t see why Porsche would fast track all these cars for them to sit at port

I'm sure Porsche doesn't know when the Gov will approve stuff so they are probably just getting the cars staged in the US rather than jamming up production or shipping. Lesser of two or three evils.

I just talked to my SA. The bulletin they have from Porsche shows an on sale date for 2021 models as 9/9. This makes my 9/11 date correct since it takes a day to travel from Houston to Denver. So our cars will be sitting in customs for a bit.

That's the second source I've heard from a dealership mention 9/9. My TYD is still showing 9/4 as the final date, but I'm betting dollars to donuts that it will be pushed back to 9/10 or 9/11 as we actually get closer.

Mine is still showing 8/15. It’d be nice, but not holding my breath.

Kind of makes tracking the ship anti-climatic. We should be tracking the EPA instead.....

I wish!

The Goodwood came into Houston with my 911 on 8-9-2020. They had it pre-inspected and loaded on a truck on 8-11-2020. I was told to expect delivery on 8-21-2020. Makes no sense to me as it is a shorter drive from Houston to Albuquerque than it is from Houston to Denver. I have heard that transport trucks are swamped with vehicles coming in. Not just Porsche but all makes and models are hitting ports now because of backups from COVID-19 for production.

if it’s already loaded on a truck it’ll be there within a few days.... it won’t take 10 days

I would have thought so too. However, I got the Congratulations! your Porsche has cleared the port and is now being transported to your dealership message in Track your Dream. It is on the second to last step which is en route to dealership. But the date of delivery changed from 8-14 to 8-21. So either Porsche is putting large pads on the delivery dates or it takes a long time to travel the 883 miles from Houston to Albuquerque.

The MH is waiting for a tug at Jacksonville. Right on schedule.
