My car this week. $5 at Home Depot. Got the car last week and then this week we're having the outside of our home re-painted (including the garage door). I was concerned about the fine mist of paint either getting in between the slats in the garage door or through the small garage vents in the walls. Gave the car a wash and wax over the weekend and then carefully laid 2 plastic sheets over the car (with the help of my wife).

The wife actually suggested buying a real car cover, but since it's my daily driver I figure I would never actually use a car cover beyond this week.

I actually like the Porsche outdoor cover. I’ve had other brands on other cars, but the Porsche cover has held up the best over time. It’s also form fit, reflects heat and sun, water resistant, has a corner zipper to help get in on, and grommets to lock it.

I have NOAH covers for my BMWs and they work great outdoors. They are allow water through but stop dirt so if it rains, the water doesn't pool on top of the cover and will evaporate, thus no issues if you car is slightly wet in random spots when you put the cover on aka right after washing it. My BMW NOAH covers came via Amazon from random BMW dealers. Cover Craft seems to make a fitted NOAH cover for the 992 -- https://www.covercraft.com/us/en/pro...r-cover.C-CCNH which I'm considering but waiting for my car to arrive first

Anyone have experience with Cover Craft covers?

I use their indoor cover on one of my cars. Overall very good quality but it did take a while to receive.

I have been very happy with my Covercraft Sunbrella outdoor car cover for my GTS cab and GT3 Touring.
