Anyone else notice their windshield wiper stutter?

I drove my new 992 cab all weekend and loved it. However, I did notice something odd. Out of the corner of my eye, perhaps every 10-15 minutes or so, I would see the front wipers "stutter". It is hard to explain, but they moved about half an inch up, then back down, as if someone had turned them on but instantly turned them back off.
I had seen this once or twice before, but wasn't quite sure if I was imagining it. This time, I saw it very clearly.
Anyone else catch this on their car? I may try to sit with a camera and catch it on video (and of course, it won't do it when I am watching, I am sure).

Apparently it's a thing, to "flick" away any water. I thought I was going crazy, too, but there were some threads - Audi does it too, apparently.

I also noticed the same thing on my 992 C2S and thought that I was going crazy. If you turn off the automatic wipers then it doesn't stutter anymore but you will have to manually engage your wipers when needed.
I have several Audis and none of them does that stutter motion....

Normal. The idea is to occasionally exercise the blade so it doesn't take a "set " in the parked position.

I kept noticing this too and was worried I had electrical gremlins.

And to stop it freezing to the glass in very cold conditions.

Yep. Normal to keep the blades from getting settled. Audi does it too along with most VW group higher end marques.

Joe Biden was apparently a stutterer. It isn't the handicap it once was. As far as the wipers, avoid the Mel Tillis setting.
