Default 992 has arrived at the port of Halifax

Hi everyone,

For everyone here up north who’s 992 have arrived.

How long was the wait from the moment your car left the cargo ship into the port of Halifax.

The wait is agonizing 😂

It’s my very first Porsche and got a Carrera in Chalk. I’m beyond excited!

As Tom Petty coined: the waiting is the hardest part.

It did ?!?!

My SA tells me it should arrive July 17. I guess it arrived early. I am also waiting for my Chalk C2S. scheduled to be shipped to Toronto! Curious, how long the transport will take. Where are you?

Thanks for the info!

I was told July 17th as well but it arrived super early. It was on the Bishu Highway from port Emden.

I was told from Halifax to Toronto it takes about 24/48 hours since our car is a sports car it will be traveling by a truck and not a train which is much quicker.

My dealership is Porsche Centre North, how about yours?

I am in Vancouver. My car arrived January 14 in Halifax. It arrived at the dealer in Vancouver Feb 4. So approx 3 weeks from coast to coast. The waiting is torture, but it makes the delivery that much more enjoyable. It is part of the experience.
Coincidently the morning my car docked in Halifax, I picked up my iPad to check on the location of the ship and by luck caught it docking in real time. Welcome to Canada 992.

I think it’s more likely about 1 week to Toronto from Halifax, even by enclosed truck transport. 24 to 48 hours is aggressive.

Got mine through Pfaff. Would be interesting to compare notes later on delivery exp etc hope to see you @ meetings. Wouldn’t be hard to look for another chalk 992 lol

keep me posted here if you have further info in transport. 24-48 hours does sound pretty quick, but won’t complaint

So I got another update, my car is released for transport to Toronto. It took them less than 24 hours to do their PDI. My SA has told me it should be at the dealership on the 24th. So far my SA has been great!

Mine was done at dealership...which I think is where it's normally performed.

There’s two PDI’s one off the boat and one done at the dealership.

One is also done right off the boat to make sure there’s no damage during transport.

You have no idea, trying to keep busy just to get my mind off it for the next two weeks.
