Default Owner's Manual in PCM

I was playing around with the PCM the other day trying to set up things to my liking. I noticed when I got to the option for the Owner's Manual, my PCM says it is not installed. Should it be? Or is that just on the family cars (Cayenne, Panamera, etc?)

Your dealer should have installed it during his pre-delivery preparation. If you had an early north America delivery, it may not have been available yet. I took delivery in October 2019 and dealer installed the owner's manual it in February when other software updates were installed.

There is no cost for the owners manual in PCM.

I just took delivery of my custom ordered C2S last week, so looks like it was overlooked. Probably explains why I can't get the Porsche Connect code to work either each time I enter it into the PCM.

Anyone else experiencing issues with the PCM?

The Porsche Connect activation problem is due to the PCM setting. The default is for manuel entry each time car is started. You can set it for auto load but must be connected to allowed driver profile. This is also authorized in the PCM. It took awhile to get this set as both settings must be done.
