Some really good points of view being mentioned.
For me, I think the 992 styling is spot on...so no need to wait for me.
It would appear in recent history that Porsche introduces the next gen motors in the .2 cars which are then essentially carried over with improvements to the next first gen cars. I also like the point of view that getting one now, and you’ll have a fresh design for a longer period of time.
Im still patiently waiting delivery of my first 911.

New user here who is eyeing a 992.2 GTS.
I personally would prefer a refreshed version of the 911 as it looks way better imo. The 991.2 was a legit visual upgrade over the 991.1. To the point I would never buy the .1 after seeing the .2.
There's no doubt a 992.2 will look better. A GT3 front hood option would be killer, but doubt they will offer that.
Lastly, I like the way final editions look compared to an all new version. Knowing you have the latest version of a whole generation is a nice feeling compared to an all new model which will again be refreshed. I wouldn't mind a hybrid mode either.
Agree with all the posts though. Life is short, if you like the car now buy it now. No need to overthink it.
