Well, I pulled the trigger and placed my order. The sales guy said he was able to get my order in even though it was past the freeze date. So, I'm moving from team blue to the Python Green club. I didn't really appreciate that he called my build odd ball though. He confirmed like three times that I wouldn't back out....

He says that they don't order 911s with aerokits. I think he doesn't like my color choices. But, whatever. I am going to try something new. One other thing. He is saying that if I do PEC that my order will be delayed a.month or two. Does anyone know if that is true? I would think it would go directly there....

The other thing that is freaking me out is the vehicle status. Something seems off....
I saw a c2s today with aero kit. it was in front of me in morning rush hour traffic. that is one huge wing and the backside is so wide it looked like a gt3...

I can't wait . Sounds awesome.
Well, its in my name now. All I need to do is get rid of this stupid v100 and for whatever reason the date says 12/19..

The aerokit cannot be combined with some colors, at least the dark blue (night or midnight or whatever they call it). Maybe PG is an undocumented no-go.

Others in this thread have the Python Green with aero on order. GUYS, did you run into this problem? I am going to ask my sales guy to call Atlanta at the same time.
Thank you!

You were right that the aerokit is causing the issue. It can be built but it will delayed until next year.
I do love some of the bolder color statements even though I’m driving a GTSilver car. If I go to the 991.2 or 992 TTS I would definitely consider Mexico or Miami blue, Carmine, or some other. There is just something off about the Python that I can’t put into words. I’m not sure if I could live with the color very long. But it is your car and you are the one who has to love it. If resale is important any off center color has a risk attached. Good luck.

Special unusual colors are ALWAYS sought after & bring a premium on resale compared with the so called safe colors! Python is definitely one of those special colors!
