Here is mine. You'll love the color and the aero kit. Good choice! The downside is since it's not metallic, things show up VERY easily on this color (If you're OCD like me and look at it in the sun or with an LED, it might drive you a little nuts). But, in average day light, you won't see most of it..I clean off the bugs daily to try and minimize their residue. Still, I am happy with the color choice. It gets so much attention. So be prepared for that.

I love PG with the AeroKit. Its goes so well together. I just edited my build to include fully painted mirrors. Do you have any close ups of your mirrors? Also, does your car have PASM sport?

Its gorgeous! I know what you mean about the non-metallic paints. My most recent car was a Nardo Gray M4, and like you, I kept spray detailer with me at all times. Bug guts suck. Lol!

Thanks. I did body color mirrors, because I got polish and wax on the black trim of the 991, and I wanted to minimize the chances on this car. I was able to successfully cover the white residue on my old car, but it was a pain. Given the amount of black plastic on this thing, there is going to be a lot of taping involved when I polish or wax. So, if you like it, get it. If not, the stamdard one is perfectly fine. I did not upgrade the headlights, but I really like the way the standard ones look. The black surround used to be optional on the 991.
The only other warning I'll give you is if you take this car on the interstate, you WILL get rock chips. I did a good job of avoiding it until my trip to Atl today . Surprisingly, the chips were dimples and did not go all the way through the paint on the front bumper. Still made me cringe.. a little less lucky on the PPF on the quarter panels. Still not too bad.

I figured that was your car. I put two and two together based on the dealer plate, SoCal location and rarity of the color. The car looks great!

I optioned the alcantara steering wheel, shift **** and boot, but didn't spring for the roof. Your interior looks great. Do you know if Chalk Gray shows rock chips as bad as Python Green?
Thanks. I'm not sure. It depends on the color of the bumper. Keep in mind that Chalk is not metallic either. The rock chips on mine didn't go through the paint on the bumper. To be honest, it's not bad. Im just a bit nutty about keeping it looking as good as possible while still using the car.
I love slate and chalk on the inside, but I prefer bold on the outside. Just my taste. If you want chalk, get what you like. I still think you'll like the Python green if you keep it.

Here is a picture of the chips. The stringy part above the three chips is just dust.

In the paint. I do not have PPF. When the 991 got hit by rocks, it went straight through the Sapphire Blue metallic paint. Chips weren't too obvious due to the metallic flakes..so that sort of helped..
On my new car, I was surprised to see any green paint left where the chips are located.

That being said, the special colors might be slightly thicker than the standard. I am not sure. Although ugly, the chips I have haven't gone all the way through the paint. Then again, I may have just been "lucky"..

I'm tempted to change my 992TT order for a 7 speed CS seeing pictures on here. I know its a different car at a different price point but I feel like it would be more fun to wring out in the city which is where majority of my driving will be.
