I'd believe Chris 3963. His info is almost always spot on.

I wouldn't believe anything from a SA. They don't know anything about anything until its officially announced.

I always ask my SA if they know something. Say they never know anything and don't get any info. So many times I've read accurate stuff here before and relayed to them and they didn't have a clue. Just told me they have so many models to keep track on. Like an excuse.

Yep. Just a job for most. I always find myself surprised when I seem to know way more about the cars I’m looking at (or their potential future) than the SA, regardless of make or model. I do think that if your job is to sell something that you should be an expert in all things for that “product”, which most aren’t, but given that logic they shouldn’t have a need to know what’s coming down the pipeline.

I think an even more troubling aspect is the post-order support, many CAs are annoyed if u ask them for weekly updates on your order. I personally don't get how hard it is to pull of a screen for 2 seconds and look, but that's just me.
