Interesting and thanks kindly for posting. I wonder how many 2020’s were manual transmissions? It can’t be many.

Don’t have it. I’m just pulling this info off Vin Analytics. I think they only post U.S and North America numbers.

Based on the previous numbers, seems like a massive increase in the number of Base 4 Cabs...

On the other hand, I feel great with my base C4 - 1 of 29 in the US!

Wow! I am one of 29. That isn't very many considering Porsche has already started making model year 2021s.

7,542 is the lowest production number since 2011. I would bet MY21 will have even lower numbers.

I believe the numbers you posted are unit sales numbers not production numbers. Sales numbers would include any new 911 sold. So 2020 unit sales for 992’s would include production from 2019 & 2020.

I see... that makes sense. So if that’s the case, production numbers should still be lower than most years. I just don’t know how to pull the numbers to compare.

My car shows to be the last one off the line for MY20 🤣

Might be a hybrid 20/21 🤪

The ‘alcantara’(racetex) headliner/visors in my current 992 have a slightly different texture than my first 992 with alcantara. I think this is the racetex.

Curious, where did you get that info? Can you link the site? I'd think there are more than 1599 992's made for 2020 MY, right? BTW, my car's MSRP was $178,750 at the time of build, but I negated a 5% discount that brought it down to $170 or so. So that $177K number makes me wonder if this might be for Calendar year 2020?

That number is just correlated to C2S models. Not all 992’s. I believe as time goes on, that number will go up. I just thought it was fun to see it currently last in line.

@ST BERNARD has the number at 1931 for S models.

Not 💯 sure how the numbers load into the site, but it’s either off of dealerships allocating arrivals, or customers purchasing. So the number will go up no doubt; it will just be interesting to see if mine stays on the very end 🤷🏼‍♂️

https://vinanalytics.com/

Create a profile first, then login & enter the last 5 digits of your VIN.

ps: value’s loaded on the website do not reflect any discount. So if that’s the case, the website is inaccurate in that regard

I use it to get the free build sheet PDF 😝

Yep, my June 12, 2019 build C4S is an early US car. It was also the first 992 sold and registered in Pennsylvania, so this comes as no surprise. :P
