Hello - I recently purchased a 2020 911 4S and the water pump failed after around 1,500 miles..... Seems too soon to fail.... Has anyone else had this issue with the new 992 and does Porsche have an updated part?

I just took my new 992 in for a a bad speaker. Evidently, the dealer has seen a few of these issues.
In addition, he mentioned a recall on the water pump which they will be replacing. Sounds like your covered. Good luck!

Glad they fixed yours. As soon as I picked up my car with the new water pump (which they said was an upgraded version), I started the car and noticed one of the speakers was not working. They immediately ordered the new speaker for the front passenger side and replaced it. They made it seem as though Porsche is sending out a recall notice for the water pump and speaker.

1) software update
2) pump
3) pulsed crankshaft position sensor
