Sport and Sports + autostart is disabled
Normal it is not disabled, but you can through the PCM menu (or if you set up your individual settings).
This is the same on both the PDK and Manual.

On the manual transmission, even if autostart is disabled - if you were to stall - If you push in the clutch, it will autostart back up.

Base mirrors (body color uppers) have some sort of film applied at the factory

I have spent way too long standing in my garage trying to get this to work unsuccessfully. Neighbors probably think I'm out of my gourd. Is this enabled on all cars (I don't have comfort entry)? Can somebody post a video of opening the frunk this way?

Yep, you have to have comfort access for this bit of magic to work. You really are not missing much.

Mine did as well on the mirrors and in front of the back wheels. I replaced both when I did the PPF. The porsche film seems to yellow a bit over time (or at least in the past they did).

I'm really looking forward to this. On my old 997 if it stalled you needed to depress the clutch, turn the key off, then restart with the key. Sometimes it would take 2-3 attempts all the while people behind thinking b.....y Porsche driver!

i have 100% success with key in pocket or car, by swipping hand on the bumper just under Porsche badge starting about 5” from left to right. I do not touch the hood at all.

I just tried this on my 2021 C2S, and it works as stated. Key in pocket, and i move my hand down and up over the badge. Neat trick, but not sure how useful it is in real life. I like the kicking motion of below the trunk in the old BMW's better, so if I am carrying bags with both hands, i can use this kicking motion to open the truck. With the Porsche, I still need to use my hands to open the Frunk, if its unlocked by the hand motion.

You will need to reach in to release the latch as well. So no complete hands free opening either way. This trick will only save you from having to reach into your pocket.

Without touching the paint, I swipe left to right over the bumper underneath the porsche badge. Opens on the first try 100% of the time.

This thread that @gcurnew started was very helpful in understanding where the frunk sensor is located.
